We provide AAA ( animal assisted activities) to care homes, group homes, schools, hospitals, and other facilities that would benefit from our visits.
AAA provides motivational, educational, and recreational benefits to enhance quality of life.
Interactions with animals can increase verbal interaction, increase attention skills, reduce anxiety, reduce loneliness, aid in memory care, improve social interactions, and provide motivation.
AAA visits are volunteer and are free of charge. Our miniature horses and handler are registered for therapeutic visits and are also in the process of finishing registration with the most prestigious non profit organization PET PARTNERS founded in 1977. Now about our “just for fun” side of things. We book visits to homes or parks for birthdays, photo shoots, festivals, or just a surprise for a loved one. The horses health and well being will always be in consideration at these visits and we are not your typical “pony ride” type business. Children will have hands on interaction with miniature horses. They will be able to pet, handle and brush the animals. They will learn about horses and their care. Children will be able to sit on one of our horses for a short lead around and photos. Depending on what you booked, they might get to ride in a cart pulled by our larger miniature horse Betty Boop. Pricing is by the hour. Contact us to schedule your “just for fun” visit.
